The accommodation

At Vangsgaarden no rooms are the same. Each room has its own unique charm - with views out onto the fjord, the mountains or the attractive hotel gardens surrounding Aabelheim.

Single rooms

Single rooms have views onto the hotel gardens and the venerable Aabelheim.

All single rooms have a cosy seating area and a TV.

Double rooms

The double rooms are located in the hotel wing and in the Aabelheim gardens. The double rooms has view towards the hotel garden.

The double rooms have double beds, TVs, seating groups and en suite bathrooms.

(Please note that there is no elevator service to the rooms)

Superior rooms

These are our largest rooms in the main building, and they are all located on the first floor. All superior rooms have delightful views of the majestic Aurlandsfjord.

These rooms are perfect for families of three or for those who would like a little more space.

Upper superior rooms

These are our largest rooms in the main building, and they are all located on the second floor. All superior rooms have delightful views of the majestic Aurlandsfjord.

These rooms are perfect for families of three or for those who would like a little more space.

The view - Deluxe rom

Our deluxe room, The View, is a cabin that is fitted out as a hotel room. This room offers a balcony over the fjord, a coffee machine, bathroom and double bed with a view out onto one of Norway's best known tourist destinations: Sognefjord. Here, guests can lie in bed and enjoy the speculator view out onto fjord and mountains. Worth the visit alone!

Fisherman's cabins (Selfservice)

The fisherman's cabins at Vangsgaarden are situated directly below the hotel wing, on the Aurland fjord. All our cabins have balconies that gives you a beautiful view towards the fjord and the mountains. Each of the cabins has a kitchen, double bed, loft room sleeping two people, bathroom, balcony over the fjord, TV, sofa and a parking space.

Breakfast is not included.

Deluxe Fisherman's cabins

The fisherman's cabins at Vangsgaarden are situated directly below the hotel wing, on the Aurland fjord. The Deluxe cabins have balconies over the fjord that gives you a beautiful view towards the fjord and the mountains. Each of the cabins has a kitchen, double bed, loft room sleeping two people, bathroom, balcony over the fjord, TV, sofa and a parking space.

Breakfast is included.

Fisherman's Apartment

The apartment is located on the top floor of the Annex, a red house by the Aabelheim garden. The apartment has a private balcony facing the fantastic Aurlandsfjord. The apartment has a kitchen, large living room, TV, bedroom and bathroom.

Breakfast is not included.
